Gen. Mubarakh Muganga Urges APR FC Players and Management to Raise Their Game

On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Rwanda’s Chief of Defense Staff and APR FC’s Patron, Gen. Mubarakh Muganga, called on the team’s players and staff to increase their goal-scoring efforts to ensure a strong performance in this year’s league.

During a meeting with the club’s personnel, Gen. Muganga emphasized that APR FC, as a team representing the Rwanda Defense Force, must embody a culture of victory in every match. He reminded them that scoring a single goal does not guarantee absolute security and urged the players to relentlessly push for more goals.

Reflecting on their recent 1-0 win against Muhazi United, Gen. Muganga expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s overall performance, particularly their ball distribution and coordination. He challenged the players to overhaul their style of play and deliver more dynamic performances.

The club’s chairman, Brig. Gen. Déo Rusanganwa, also addressed the players, reminding them of their responsibility to bring joy to APR FC’s supporters. He urged them to step up their game ahead of their next match against Bugesera FC, scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Kigali Pelé Stadium.

The Army side remains committed to clinching the league title, driven by their unwavering pursuit of excellence.
